We understand that circumstances can change. The following policy outlines our tuition refund process for students who need to cancel their enrollment.

1. Cancellation Within the First Two Weeks

Students who cancel their enrollment within the first two weeks of the semester are eligible for a refund of unused tuition, minus a $25 processing fee.

The refund amount is calculated based on the number of classes remaining at the time of cancellation.

Example: A student enrolls in a 10-session course at $300 total ($30 per session). If they attend 2 sessions and cancel during the first two weeks, the refund would be calculated as follows:

• Sessions remaining: 8 × $30 = $240
• Processing fee: − $25
• Total refund: $215

2. Cancellation After the First Two Weeks
No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after the first two weeks of the semester. Students are encouraged to carefully review the course schedule and commitment before enrolling.

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing (email is acceptable). Refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days of the approved cancellation request.

4. Non-Refundable Items
New student registration fees, if applicable, are non-refundable regardless of the cancellation date.

5. Exceptions
Requests for refunds outside of the standard policy window (e.g., due to a medical emergency or other extenuating circumstances) will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of Yuan Shuo Academy.
